Don’t worry steve i will use all my feminine wiles to try and lure tam back to Egypt. Coz i think there are lots of really friendly people here and if we visit an oasis it shouldn’t be too dry. Since I’ve got back I realise everyone loves Siwa- which we skipped.

Very spacious and the train was not full at all - I got three seats to myself and was able to sleep lying down! On our last day we went to Qanater, 16km down river from Cairo, which seems to be where young Egyptian couples go for fun... it was very... interesting! Oh, sorry – yes the train journey was fine.
