Thanks to everyone who came down to the Fat Cat this evening. I had a great time and I think others did too. Here are the slides from my Pecha Kucha presentation. They probably won’t make much sense if you weren’t there but I’ll see if I can get the audio recording for the evening and sync it to the slides.

The books I mentioned were Don’t Make Me Think by Steve Krug which is essential reading for anyone involved in any aspect of making websites; and The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman which is over 20 years old but still just as relevant today.

Thanks for all the kind words too. It’s the first presentation I’ve done at this kind of event and I really enjoyed it! Roll on next time.
